I am, admittedly, new to Goldens. However, I have been active in the "Sport of Dogs" for the majority of my life, since I was a small kid in southern Alabama. I acquired my first Golden after my most beloved Gordon Setter, Murphy, passed away from hemangiosarcoma. He was my everything. Just a month later I was diagnosed with brain cancer, and I desperately needed a big dog to cuddle with. Having shown Goldens in the past, and having friends who have them I decided I would get one of those great big lapdogs! I had never been open to the wonder that is the Golden until the stars aligned and made me look at the breed through a different lens. I am grateful for that change of sight. I enjoy every day I spend with them. My main focus in dogs has always been to build on the four paramount aspects of dog breeding: health, temperament, structure and type. Without one and you lose all balance. All of my Goldens have complete health testing and I only breed to dogs with complete testing, and who are of sound mind, body and soul, and of course, pretty! Take a look around, get hooked by the wonder of the Golden!
Is there any thing cute than newborn babies?
WE ARE IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH RIPLEY GOLDEN RETRIEVERS OR STEVE AND FRANCES BRENTSON! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND OR ENDORSE THEM FOR PUPPIES OR HANDLING!
